Description - Equation for calculating the internal dose from ingestion of vegetables for radionuclide x

In order to calculate the internal dose from ingestion of vegetables for radionuclide x (D_x,ingest/veg) the concentration of radionuclide x in soil in units becquerels per kilogram should be multiplied by the dose coefficient for ingestion for radionuclide x (DC_x,ingest) in units of Sievert per becquerel, then multiplied by the plant uptake factor and by the vegetable consumption rate in kilogram per year, then multiplied by a factor of 0.5, and finally converted from Sieverts to millisieverts by multiplying by 1000.
